Caring for sterling silver

Solid sterling silver can be cleaned with a weak solution of washing up liquid and warm water.

Gently wash the piece in the solution for a few minutes before dabbing dry with a soft cloth.

Caring for gold plate

Gold plated pieces should not be made wet. Due to the nature of gold plating, water, chemicals and cleaners can wear down the layers of plating and cause it to rub off.

Lightly buff with a soft cloth if piece starts lacking shine.
